September 22, 2010Everyone is chatting about it, this morning:
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram talked about it, here: http://www.star-telegram.com/2010/09/21/2485995/fort-worth-visit-proves-tiger.html

Tiger Woods was bench pressing 315 pounds at a fitness center in Fort Worth, Texas early Tuesday morning, as part of a Nike photo shoot with Anthony Kim and Paul Casey, according to a Fort Worth Star Telegram story.
“The workout Tiger did would resemble what an NFL safety would do,” fitness center owner Larry North told the Star-Telegram. “His strength is mind-boggling for a guy his size. He is very fit and very, very strong. He’s in great shape.”

Tiger Woods was up so early in Fort Worth last week, it’s unlikely that any locals noticed he was on the move. His always faithful sponsor, Nike, wanted to shoot a promo video of Tiger in the gym. The location was Larry North Fitness in downtown Fort Worth.
“At 5:30 Thursday morning, a very bright-eyed Tiger Woods walked into our gym,” says Larry. “Let me tell you, this guy know his way around a weight room. He worked out and was very nice, very friendly and very pumped up.”
Nike golfers Anthony Kim and Paul Casey were also on hand for the shoot.
The day before, Tiger visited The Oven (that’s the Fort Worth Nike Golf research and development center).

STAFFELBACH: Creating Newsworthy Spaces
September 21, 2010Southwestern Medical Foundation is moving next door to the original Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
The full column is by known real-estate columnist, Steve Brown, of the Dallas Morning News.
You can read it here: http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/bus/stories/DN-foundation_16bus.ART.State.Edition1.26bf442.html
In the article, Steve says:
Southwestern Medical Foundation is moving its offices to the historic Parkland Hospital complex where the UT Southwestern Medical Center got its start in 1943.
In January, the foundation offices will be in a new building next door to the recently restored historic building at Maple and Oak Lawn avenues.
That space that they are moving to is being designed by Staffelbach.
Another recent news item comes from USA Today:
http://travel.usatoday.com/flights/post/2010/09/american-airlines-san-francisco-terminal-2/111821/1
American Airlines announced this week that it will relocate its operations at San Francisco International to the airport’s new Terminal 2 sometime in the spring of 2011. Currently, AA operates out of SFO’s Terminal 3. AA says that “in conjunction with the terminal move, American will construct a brand-new Admiral’s Club lounge,” which it adds “will be the only airport lounge in Terminal 2.”
That brand-new Admiral’s Club lounge is being designed by yours truly, as well.
We are always honored to be a part of the projects that become a part of your lives.
