STAFFELBACH – American Airlines Admiral’s Club (SFO) San Francisco – Unveiled

April 18, 2011

Staffelbach’s fabulous design work of the new American Airlines Admiral’s club in San Francisco was recently revealed and profiled by Chris McGinnis, travel writer for the San Francisco Chronicle.

The full article (with photography) can be found here:

In the article, McGinnis says:

“American Airlines seems be getting drowned out and left out of a lot of the media coverage regarding the opening of SFO’s new Terminal 2, which it shares with Virgin America. Of huge interest to frequent travelers is the opening of a fantastic new Admiral’s Club, with touches I’ve rarely or never seen before in an airport lounge….like a fireplace and pine trees! T2 is so high-end that the entire terminal feels like one giant airport club, so AA had to pull out all the stops to make this club even nicer than the rest of the terminal…and I think they succeeded.”

Be sure to read the full article to see the shots of the club, too.

It was a real pleasure to be the designer of this project and we are elated with the kind words shared.

STAFFELBACH: Tiger Woods Gets Pumped Inside Staffelbach Design

September 22, 2010

Everyone is chatting about it, this morning:

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram talked about it, here: http://www.star-telegram.com/2010/09/21/2485995/fort-worth-visit-proves-tiger.html

Tiger Woods was bench pressing 315 pounds at a fitness center in Fort Worth, Texas early Tuesday morning, as part of a Nike photo shoot with Anthony Kim and Paul Casey, according to a Fort Worth Star Telegram story.

“The workout Tiger did would resemble what an NFL safety would do,” fitness center owner Larry North told the Star-Telegram. “His strength is mind-boggling for a guy his size. He is very fit and very, very strong. He’s in great shape.”

Tiger Woods was up so early in Fort Worth last week, it’s unlikely that any locals noticed he was on the move. His always faithful sponsor, Nike, wanted to shoot a promo video of Tiger in the gym. The location was Larry North Fitness in downtown Fort Worth.
“At 5:30 Thursday morning, a very bright-eyed Tiger Woods walked into our gym,” says Larry. “Let me tell you, this guy know his way around a weight room. He worked out and was very nice, very friendly and very pumped up.”
Nike golfers Anthony Kim and Paul Casey were also on hand for the shoot.
The day before, Tiger visited The Oven (that’s the Fort Worth Nike Golf research and development center).

From Alan Peppard’s column in the Dallas Morning News (at: http://sceneblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2010/09/alan-peppard-tiger-woods-gets.html)

What makes this special to us is that this space – the Fort Worth Larry North Fitness Center in downtown Fort Worth, Texas was designed by Staffelbach.

STAFFELBACH – What Makes Us Smile

August 30, 2010

There is so much that we love about our work; but, it really makes us happy to receive great words from a client that we’ve worked with.

A lovely note came to our President and CEO (an accomplished designer in her own right) Jo Heinz.

It reads:
“Dear Jo, I cannot begin to express the gratitude towards you, Andre and the entire Staffelbach team for making our office so amazing.  We always knew that our ‘home away from home’ is something pretty amazing and being featured in Corporate Interiors is icing on the cake!  We are proud to have the Staffelbach name associated with our office.”

We always enjoy these kinds of awards as they showcase exactly what matters most to us: complete client satisfaction.
